Art, Craft And Design
Introduction
This course has two strands.
- Full-time portfolio preparation course. These students will produce a portfolio to a high standard and will be able to progress to further Art Studies. Places are also reserved on Art courses in a variety of 3rd level institutions for students who have successfully completed the course. (See Link to higher Education). This intensive and challenging course is designed to develop the technical and creative skills in a great range of art disciplines.
- A mature student course. There will be a great emphasis on teaching the basic elements of drawing and painting. All students will be expected to submit work for FETAC project assessments. Both courses are complimented by visiting artists who will give talks/demonstrations. Also students will have an opportunity to visit galleries and artists studios.

One Year full-time.
