Introduction
This one-year course is long established at the Coláiste with a reputation for excellence. It aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to enter the world of business. Students are trained to a high level of competency in current office technology. On successful completion of the course, students will have many opportunities to gain employment in the Computer/Secretarial areas or progress to further study in the Information Technology or Business/Commerce areas.

Entry Requirements
Leaving Cert or equivalent. All applicants are interviewed and places awarded according to suitability for the course.

Graduates of this course have obtained employment in Local Authorities, Civil Service, Health Boards, Financial Institutions, Schools, Private Industry, etc.
Further Education Links
Successful students have the option to progress on to Degree and Diploma Courses such as Business Studies, Office Administration Systems, and Computer Applications etc at IT Colleges through the Higher Education Links Scheme.
