The prime aim of Post Leaving Cert Courses is to prepare students for entry to the workforce or to further education and training. The Post Leaving Cert Courses run by this college are either one-year or two-year full-time day courses, and include work experience. They are certified by the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) IATI and ITEC. You can apply online for the PLC Courses at Coláiste Chathail Naofa.

1. Coláiste Chathail Naofa charges no Tuition fees. Non EU applicants will have to pay the appropriate D.E.S. fees on registration.

2. FETAC and other external bodies exam fees are payable as they arise. A non-refundable registration fee applies to each course.

3. The entry requirement for the courses is Leaving Certificate standard with at least 5 passes on Ordinary level papers. Leaving Cert Applied standard is also accepted for most courses. This educational requirement does not apply to mature students.

4. Eligible students qualify for maintenance grants.

5. Mature students are welcome to apply.

6. Students can use Post Leaving Cert courses to progress to courses in Higher Education Institutions.

7. Courses will run subject to minimum enrolment.

8. The college reserves the right to alter course content and title within FETAC guidelines.
